i saw one of those featured in magazine a couple months back.. definately a cool idea and by cool i mean real nerdy to see someone using one of those..

don't ya think it would feel extremely different because you arent actually pressing any buttons?

You won't feel the keystrokes that's for sure and it will take time to get used to not typing to the wrong key and not knowing it. But who cares, this is one things that look so good that u don't care about the usability LOL

How usable is it?

This may be the ideal thing for my living room based PC.

Just a wireless mouse and projected keyboard on the coffee table

Although, a USB Swiss Army is also pretty trick..

And of course... the ultimate USB deivce...

The USB Lava Lamp..

Sadly, the reviews on it haven't been glowing.

I think this was developed minimize the risk of RSI (strange keyboard usage bone disease), since you don't have to apply any pressure to select letter. This greatly reduces stress on your arms and fingers.

Imagine your table(if its from polished wood or so) having lighter spots on it after using it for couple of months

Soon computers will be used as in Minority Report or so

don't think so who would want to stand and wave with their hands if you can move a mouse which, mind you, requires much less effort to do!
