WOWIE, speaking of crazy cars on e-bay (XJ220) (NEW!!!!!!)

Wow, a practically new xj220 on ebay. As I write this the reserve has been met and the car is going for $219,000 USD. Expensive yea, but ten year ago this car went for $678,000 USD new. And it has less than 1000 miles on it, it is new. And its left hand drive, how many xj220's are left hand drive? not very many. This is in short the bargan of the century. A car that has 500 plus bhp, out of a 3.5 six, is one of the fastest cars in the world 220mph, and quickest at 3.5 to 60. And one of the most beautiful cars ever conceived. In ten years this car will be worth more than it cost in 1992. If i had 200,000 to friviously spend on a car, i would have bid.
although i not so sure about the seller. No feed back, incorrect stats on the car, and if you look at his other auctions lots more incorrect stats.

I still don't understand how somebody can buy such cars in eBay... I hope the bidder actually visited the seller and saw the car in the metal...

If I remember Clarkson's review on the Jag, he said it was nearly impossible to drive...and had the biggest Turbo lag he'd ever seen.

ok im going to stop replying so much but first twboy you are an idiot!
The jag is one of the most beautiful cars ever. And it handles like crap...hum...well...it did win its class at LeMans i think that that says some thing as to its ablities.
note: after the lemans race the jag was DQ's for some technicality.

ya the XJ220 is badass although its not my favorite super car. Its no where near ugly. the shear design is beautiful although they could have made the engine look prettier.

I cant say I like this car. I dont dig it's styling at all. I dont like the extirior and I hate the interior... I cant say it's ugly, it just aint my type.

I've been to that dealer ship, its just about the most amazing thing you can see with two eyes. they probably had upwards of 20 or 30 ferrari's, a bently , 5 lambos including a new merc (at the time, it was two years ago that i went), 911 turbo, complete marble floor , marble semi-circle stairway to the upstairs, its uncalled for how cool it is! and in one of the nicest areas of southern cali, its crazy. i have several pics of that dealership, i should try to get them scanned sometime and posted up.

reserve met? seller has 0 feedback? Hmm I am sure he could have hired the reserve prize and sell other things first to improove on his feedback... some people are just dumb, as those who buy SUCH a car without looking at it first as TT pointed out.
