Default Jan 03: Maserati 3200GT in depth!

I don't have many more indepths in the pipeline.. actually only another one after this one, so I hope to organize some more shooting soon

Anyway, this one was another cool car! komotar should like, I for sure did! Somebody will scream rice at the carbon roof and logo+airintake frame, btu IMO it's damn cool! And a masterpiece that logo!
It was an auto, so a bit weird and for sure it doesn't push like the Gransport (always talking about passenger rides just to be clear), but well, the engine is still cooler IMO: more carachter, thanks to the turbos of course. There is some lag, not terrible, but when the turbos kick in, it's bloody fun and fast! A bit tricky when you kick it down in a corner and it drops a gear, no power for a moment and then it unleashes it all.

The car is a great looking one, too bad we didn't have more time for the pics, I realize most of them are kinda similar

Anyway, enjoy! and you can find 29 high-res pics by clicking the previews!

I'm starting to appreciate these mods guys do more and more, its good to have something a little bit different/unique - as long as its not over the top.

Automatic? What was he thinking? Anyway its still a cool car and definately something I'd like to own while I work towards a Ferrari/Lambo.

Thanks for the pics, this is my fav:

I don't like it at all with that cf hood and all... It just looks like a riced up car... The original is sexy as hell though...

It's always great to have this kind of photograph car review from you TT...I hope this tradition will continue throughout 2006 !

Despite that I'm not a fan of the Maserati 3200GT I'm nevertheless conscious of the great tuning potential offer from a V8 biturbo engine.

I have to agree with you TT the Carbon looks amazing on that car not ricey at all. I have to say I'm not a fan of those tail lights though. And as always amazing pics!

BTW, this car is for sale at the local Maser garage, so it doesn't have an owner, we just got it for a testdrive.
And well, the clutch on the 3200 is a real bitch as far as they say, that's why MANY ppl bought picked the auto option

Wow TT, I am starting to really appreciate your new camera.

As much as I like the cf logo, I am not a big fan of a unpainted cf hood on a car of that class.

Nice pics of the Maserati 3200GT. Still the best looking Maserati IMO!!

I do have my doubt about that black bonnet. I agree with you on the grille however, it's nice.

But an automatic Maserati ... that's just a damn shame IMO.

thx for the in dept feature!

Well the old Pro 1 was "compact" and easier to carry around, but the 350D is MUCH better, especially now that I finally got an IS lense

Well, I dont think the CF hood is rice, maybe it doesnt suit this class of car perhaps but it certainly makes it unique!

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your in-depth views on the Maser 8)

It looks quite nice, with that two tonne colour scheeme, the carbon going well together with the silver paint. But modifying the badge seems a bit silly to me.
This is probably my favourite picture:

it looks nothing special from behind (bumerang lights rocks), but it looks very special in the front end, weird....not

the car is very cool, and the photos are too great, some very good ones in the SET

btw...is it standard 370HP engine or the engine has more of it

thanks for this great indepth.....love it
