Default Sport Auto Supertest : Koenigsegg CCR

Edit : Pics were originally here but I decided to remove them coz the discussion would be quite comlicated for those with slower connection speeds. (and I was unable to create thumbnails because of my faulty computer )

Thanks for the scans mate, maybe some translation for the most important parts ?
This test was awaited and it promises a lot, I just have some doubt about reliability after having watch 5th Gear. And it also needs 800 bhp to post a lap time slower than a 612 bhp CGT

Thanks a lot

Must say the test is a lot more positive than i expected, even more so the sheer performance of this thing. I expected good straight line perf (beats CGT) - but the same result in both slalom and emergency lane schange and the a 7.34 and 267kph through Schwedenkreutz... this thing is seriously fast! 8)

This thing is undeniably fast, but the actual performance doesn't live up to the power to weight ratio perfectly.

Thanks for the translation mate It seems that the CCX won't be (only ) the homologation car for US market but an even faster version of the Koenigsegg ... I hope it will be reliable

Ugly car, and with 800 bhp its not that impressive... still if the CGT was developed in the ring i doubt any car will be faster for now... just in the ring of course

You're telling me that the CGT wasn't developed at the NS?

Well, the CCR is well balanced but does not make significant downforce - unlike the Cgt. But then, as a result, by the time the CGT tops out the CCR is barely getting into its stride
