Awesome. Cool video, really makes Jay a bit cooler in my eyes.
Amazing how this car weighs less than a Miata, and has no stability assists what so ever..
A real drivers car, maybe thats why some people claim it handles like shit ;P

Those are drives that are to bad to drive the mclaren.
Or maby they used to much electronics.
You need to be good driver to drive the f1.

WOW! Jay Leno is awesome...what a cool website he has, to share his cars with everyone. This video makes me love the F1 even more, what an amazing car, he really is right about the looks. It still looks just as good today as it did the day it came out. Badass! Thanks, I'd been waiting for this one.

He has definitely gained some respect from me, after watching this vid. I thought that he was more of a '50s and earlier car guy. Nice to see that he appreciates what 'modern' technology can offer.
Enough with the Veyron comparisons. The Veyron can smoke this car any which way. That being said, I have a big soft spot in my heart for the F1. I bought the book 'Driving Ambition', the official inside storey written by Doug Nye, Ron Dennis and Gordan Murray. It makes you appreciate the car that much more.
'If I had to choose', I'd take one of the five F1 LM. However, I would see if MacLaren could fit conventional gears (the spur gears are REALLY noisy on the LM - think BTCC for a reference). You wouldn't want to miss out the sound of that beautiful engine, would you?
