According to Motorauthority 2.0L Turbo engine with 215hp and 217ft.lb $19,900,
3.8L V6 with 300hp and 280ft.lb $25,990 for the Hyundai.
The Mustang...
Starts at $19,995 for the 210hp 240 ft lb V6
Starts at $26,585 for the 300hp 320 fl lb V8
So... spec and price wise, it's pretty neck-and-neck... kinda.

The Mustang looks much better. As always with the Koreans, the style is a mixture of other cars designs. But probably it is going to be a reliable and competent car.

I don't think it looks like Maserati GT's front at all. Here's the pics released some days before.

I love the roof line. The doors really look great too! dani is right, the big thing here is the RWD.

That's a pretty interesting car. I bet the Mustang has a far better average horsepower figure. Perhaps this car's 6 speed gear box will help it catch up. The 5 link suspension on this concept is going to bring up the price a bit I'm sure. Maybe it'll be an option or part of the higher performance package.
Thay claim the genesis will go 0-60 in "well under 6 seconds." How far under it actually goes will tell a great deal about how it compares to the Mustang.
The current V8 Mustang does 0-60 in 4.9-5.2 seconds depending on which magazine you read. Also, the current Mustang does the quarter in 13.5-13.9 seconds, once again, depending on which magazine you reference.

Hmmm... even I have to admit that the RWD idea is very tempting.
The only RWD cars sold here are BMW and Mercs. Except with UK-par pricing! For a 3rd world country!
Having cheap RWD is very very interesting indeed.

Yeah, but is it any good? I remember people making fun of the Rover 75 V8 despite its having RWD.

Cheap rwd is pretty much the only reason that 240sx's are popular.
