'nuff said interceptor_01. Say, do you rip the songs yourself from vinyl? If so, what software do you use?

I wouldn't know how many mp3's I've got. I burn 'em on cd's from time to time to make room on my HD. Only keep about 3.5 Gig of the best songs on there.

I know it's a silly question, but how do you make a screenshot?

The record companies just got the right to get people IPs on file share networks and sue the bejezus out of them. So, since thats illegal, get an FM tuner on your PC and start ripping songs off the radio. Who said a tape recorder is illegal lol. Maybe somone can make program smart enough to listen to hours of radio and section out the songs from the talk and even delete repeats of songs

Actually, using a tape recorder to take songs off of the radio is illegal too. It's just that they have no way of tracking it.

The RIAA is a bunch of idiots. Lets sue a bunch of college kids that have no money. That will recover the losses we had since CD sales are way down.

I think CD sales are down because most of what has come out in the last few years has been garbage. Record labels are just as dumb, who was it that gave Mariah Carey an $80million contract only to buy out of it for another $30 million.
just because it sold yesterday doesn't mean it will today. Instead of spending millions on old acts (Mariah Carey) spend it on new, inventive bands. Then maybe you will make money.
I won't start on the enormously high and unjustified price of a CD.

Wanna know something else, The RIAA gets a percentage of the profits made by blank CD sales.

Has anyone seen those commerials about piracy from the RIAA? They explain how piracy steals money not only from the artist and record label, but the people behind the scenes as well. The janitor of said record label, the secretary, the producer and so on and so on.
They can't stop piracy. So what if they get a few people over Kazaa and various other p2p networks. Much much more is traded over IRC and various other programs.

30gigs of car movies

layed off the music picking up one here or there

bet you ive got a cool song you never heard of

(music starts at ~1:00 and its just gets better as you listen to it IMO)

Victor van Vlaardingen - Feel The Silence

Victor van Vlaardingen

Hi folks

Yup, that tune was a track i recorded of my own band as an assignment for audio engineering 3 years ago I'm glad to hear you all like it

Ubul, I'm right with you Would be nice to have the atmosphere you are refering to. Scawen and i will be working on improving sound (not just the engines) over time, so we hope to add that touch as well

Thanks, I'll deliver the message to the band

Feel the Silence (ext) mp3 (with a longer intro )
for an independant band doing this song for a project its ver very impressive

http://lfs.racesimcentral.com/file_rsc.php...lthesilence.mp3

deffinatly worth a listen all the way through since it gets really goot 3/4 way through

enjoy audiophiles
