Default 142 photos (of cars) from Monaco

I'm sure you've seen pics from Monaco before me arriving here, but I would like to share with you my day in Monaco last week, this is looking to be my last new topic with photo's of "WYST" in, but I felt I wanted to post them here because it was such a great day, and I got to grips with my new camera properly

As the topic says. there 142 photos below, some cars like the Corvette C5, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster and an AC Cobra I missed but the rest arent all that bad either:

All 142 images:

Approaching the Monte-Carlo Casino

Outside the Monte-Carlo Casino, some drive-pasts, others parking and some parked!

The Casino

I then left my parents in a café and walked around, firstly spotting this old 360

I was then surprised to see sitting on the side of the road this beautiful example of this Wiesmann Roadster

This loud 360 Spider appeared from an underground car park

and then I heard the Wiesmann start up, and floored it down the street, so I managed to fire off another few photos of it

And then I returned to the Casino again, to meet some new cars

I didn’t name each car because this is a car forum and I’m sure you can tell what they are!
Many cars I saw many times, and may feature more than once, that RollsRoyce above with its recognisable reg plate I saw at least 6 or 7 times!

Next onto a Hotel nearby
An English Aston Martin DB9… that’s why there not many in the UK, they’re all abroad!

another 612 Scag

Ferrari 456?

The 3rd F430 I had seen by then, the 1st with the camera ready, and a lovely one too!

Moved further on, many people don’t consider the Range Rover Sport special, but I like this supercharged version

This 911 was parked so close to the Smart in front its bumper was not just touching, but pressing into it!

hunting a place for lunch, and found this turning into the street, a nice little M5

And the next few pictures are taken from the restaurant at lunch time (my parents becoming considerably agitated every time a nice car drove past )
A Corvette C6, the 2nd I’ve ever seen on the road

Aston Martin DB9 Volante … the same from the Casino maybe?

An F430 Spider

I then established myself on a street corner (on the F1 circuit now)

These are not as common here as I expected

Different in white… I saw one at the airport too, with a Saudi plate I think

and a Ferrari 550 or 575… look the same to me!

And then it rained, but after the heavy rain shower I continued on round the circuit, followers of F1 (or like me GT3 and GT4 game) may recognise the next pics…

A Ferrari 360 taking the famous hairpin the wrong way

The corner, and a Ferrari just passing through it

A smaller casino…

way too many of these SL’s in Monaco ^^^

A view from one of the 2 bays that make up the Monaco Principality

The entrance, and the exit of the tunnel

A view across the bay towards the Palace on the hill

A nice rarity for me anyway, a Z8

some “big boats”

A Ferrari 550 parked on the edge

A very classic Maserati, but I don’t know what it is

Ferrari 360 Spider.. with different rims…

I just like the whole black with black rims setup

A very loud Italian F430 Spider

A Merc CLS55, could be the one I photographed earlier, I just haven’t checked the plates for recognition yet

Turning onto the main street

I love this pic, I know the Honda dealer is next to it, but Ferrari with Hondas infront

This Quattroporte was there last year I’m sure

A nice black GranSport

Outside the Service Bay

Can you spot the Ferrari

Sorry that was a bad joke, anyway, pics from inside the service bay
612 Scags, 360’s an Enzo, F430’s, some older cars, and more!

We then sat at a Café by the road split to Menton and Nice and ‘Toutes Directions’ and once again I was photographing passing cars, but they were going quite fast and close up by then
Ferrari 550/575M

Ferrari 360

Maserati Quattroporte

Jaguar E-Type Convertible SII/III

A tuned 996 911 Turbo Cabriolet

A Chrysler 300C, my first sighting on the road

This Impreza really isn’t riced, its very powerful, I promise

This was for me the best sighting, it’s the first I’ve ever seen, and probably never see one again, a Shelby Series 1, not sold outside of the US I believe, the picture is bad because of the traffic, but its enough proof that I saw it!

and finally this Mustang, also rare outside the US, or at least for me back in England where I’ve only seen 4 on the roads before.

There they are, my photo's, and I hope you liked them

Very nice sightings you had! Nothing really "major", but lot of cars nonetheless!

The classic Maser is a 3500GT Vignale Spider

As for the 550 vs 575 thing: front fog lights beside the air vent = 550, that's the easier thing to spot. From the back it is a bit harder: where the bonnet meets the bumper, the 550 has something like a "dent" in the latter, around 30 cm long, used I guess to sneak your fingers in and lift the trunk. The 575 doesn't have it. The 575 front lights are different, more modern looking and painted inside too

An amazing amount of Ferrari's - shame no pics of Lambo's. However still a very successful trip - thanks.
