Mmmm .... Ferrari for sure !!!
Hahaha , well im not really into american cars , kinda not like them
But the new C5 corvette is really good , so i think i would stick with chevy ... but ... the GT40 ... the only american car that is not american !!! So even it might take corners properly ... damn i love that car ... difficult , but i would take chevy

Although I dont know anything about American Iron and not into it, I'll go with Ford. They brought us the GT40 and the Stang.

Why are you so hyped up about the hemi. It's something I sincerely don't get. Almost all engines in todays day and age you hemi technology. So what is it now other then a marketing term?

well, no engine will ever be able to make a fully hemi combustion chamber because its copyrighted. Ford made the Cammer (semi-hemi) and there are many copies of it, but it is the best head design ever discovered, and its copyright will always give it a slight edge over anything else. Plus Ive just always been a mopar fan and the best mopar engine from the 60s was the hemi, so thats y its my fav.

Oh by the way, the new hemi is not a true hemi engine.
"the heads have true Hemi chambers with a few cubic centimeters of additional material on each side to channel the flow and get the proper burn characteristics"
Oh, not to be picky but its a patent not a copyright. It also has a time period limitation of 20 years, so technically thats not the reason why one has not been made. GM has made hemi engines for some race cars. In general the hemisphere setup is believed to be more expensive then other methods.

I'm a bowtie guy, although I have to give props to Ford for the the GT40
And as was stated before, small block chevy motors have aftermarket up the ass. Pushrod or not, for a few grand, it'll smoke alot of things.

I think hes talking more along the lines of the older HEMIs.
I personally believe nothing beats Ford. You got the awesome sounding 4.6 Litre stang, sounds better than any flowmaster. You got the Boss Mustangs with their 429s, and 302s, Mach 1s, Cobras, the awesome Ford GT, The Cool Ford Escort Cossies, and the SVT Focus's. Not to mention the greatest truck ever, the F-150, and its Lightning varient.

In this debate I always have a tough time choosing. When it comes to muscle cars I prefer mopars obviously, but there really havent been any decent mopars in years. I think the viper is garbage. the neon srt-10 is good for what it is, but its still a 4-banger. they really need to make an affordable performance car. I have been looking at late 80s stangs and maros/birds for my first car because you can get them dirt cheap, they are easily upgradeable, and they have relatively good performance. When it comes to Modern times I'd have to go with Ford, GM is close but I prefer fords for some reason. Ive really got to get off these boards, lol starting to contradict myself.
