Default Thanks for saving Christmas for me fishfreek !!!

A very long and complicated story...

Basically my sisters dog died recently and I wanted to get some T-shirts and other products made up at www.cafepress.com with a picture of her dog on as Xmas presents for her....

Sadly cafepress do not offer any type of express shipping service to the UK and my presents would never have arrived in time for Xmas.

My only hope was to have everything shipped to fishfreek in the US who would then have to send the order on to me on a Fed Ex 3 day express service direct to the UK....amazingly everything arrived at his office today just in time and he went to a lot of trouble and well out of his way to take it to his local Fed Ex depot so it would get to me in time...it is now due to arrive 8 PM Xmas eve...how close is that ????

Anyway I just wanted to say a massive thank you fishfreek and I have sent you a little Xmas gift as a small thank you for all the effort you went to today for me........

Thanks again

Very nice to know you managed to solve the situation in the end!

And now I wonder, when we talked about the possible solution, why did we forget about our sweet brembo??? LOL, it is terrible! I feel dumb!

Yep one Christmas I will never forget....

Quick update I actually saw the Fed Ex plane with my presents fly past my office window today as the airport is less than 10 miles away and they have their own planes that are so easy to recognise....true to form their tracking web site said the presents were at the airport just over an hour later. I should get them late tomorrow morning or early afternoon

Since the airport is only 10 miles away, can't you go and knock on their door to pick it up? You should have it in 20 minutes.

Yep I could...and have done so before when stuff has been held by customs...but looking at the Xmas traffic and how busy the airport is I think I prefer to wait and have it bought out to me....as long as its here tommorow then thats fine...if not...then yes...airport here I come....
