I remember when this mag was out and I also remember, that I wanted to buy it but didn't have the money with me. When I got back to the store a day later, it was gone and I couldn't find it anywhere else.
So, I guess I could make it short and just say : THX!

8) Excellent post. I'm going to spend a few minutes in PS and hopefully have a new wallpaper with all those Ms and CSLs 8)
*edit* No luck on the PS project the fold between pages cut out some of the stuff in the middle so i can't get it to line up right too bad too, that would have been a great wallpaper
*edit2* is this where you got that article scan? http://www.e34.de/e34/m-history/m-history.htm looks identical

Thanks a lot for this! Awesome read, unique article, great cars and simply one of the best articles i have read in a while. Interesting to see how the "new breed" of cars will fare around the same track?

Thanks a lot for this, i can't wait to read it. I was not sure what would win between the CSL and the M5, i knew they would both be very near the top.

Beautiful article bmwmpower, many thanks. Ironically, the top 10 was nearly exactly the same as the way I'd pick it, particularly the top 3. Great stuff, awesome comparison

Nice article...Just one little thing...they tested the cars on the TG test track right?! if so check out the CLS's time...1:20.09... ...if thats the real time thats bloody quick... The Zonda, Muci and Koningsegg dont stand a chance against that kinda speed....hell its not much slower then the Carerra GT either...what a machine... 8)

Nice article, slightly surprised that the e46 CSL won overall.
My choice would still be the e39 m5 without a doubt

The e36s have never really been rated as proper M cars. In fact i've seen plenty of people refer to them as 332is as they don't think it deserves the M badge.
