Saw this on over on F-Chat

@ Alex - It isn't a race, and i don't think that they are using 100% of the power the whole time, but the 430 seems more than capable of catching up the 360CS on the straights. 8)

Through the corners though, it's tough, as neither driver is really pushing, but it seems the 360 is much more balanced/relaxed during cornering Me..... i'd have a 360CS..... and a 430 Spider for cruising

Yeah, you can clearly see that the guy driving the F430 is lifting on the straights, when he aproaches the Stradale.

And I'd take the Stradale too; when it blips on the downshifts, I go all .

THats what I was about to post. Its just amatures, I thought it was a race.

From the looks of it the F430 is very fast on straights, and I really cant judge the cornering abality since he was far far far from the limit in the corners and he didnt loose out to the 360 on them..........These guys need to learn how to drive.

But I would say the F430 in the proper hands will lap 2 secs faster easy.

I suppose cornering speeds at the limit in both cars will be pretty much identical, as the 430 is not just a revised 360. The 430 will make up a load of time on the straights though, so i agree with you, Alex. 2secs is a little conservative though

didnt download it cause of the comments that its not a race, but i guess the F430 will be faster than -2 secs a lap vs the CS

Not a proper race, but still well worth the download.

As for the F430 being 'X' seconds faster or not, I don't know, but lets not forget that the Stradale weights 170 Kilos less, has a harder suspension, softer tyres and overal it's more track focused than the F430. And around Fiorano, the Stradale is 0.75 seconds faster than the F430. Though on this track (and most tracks), the F430 should be faster.

To be honest I dont believe that Fiorano time, I bet the F430 is faster around there they just say it to make the Stradale look more hardcore.

Even though its heavier with it has the trick diff and Im sure it corners as well if not better then the CS. Just my opinion.

And the 2 sec faster is what I predict for a track like the Nurbring GP circuit. And it would tons faster around the long track.

Anyway well have to wait and see for some proper tests.

track,,, i dun think f430 will be faster,, unless it is mainly straight

cs is almost a track car, where as 430 is a just a pure road car

Meh, I believe the Fiorano time. They don't need to hype the Stradale because they already sold them all. It would make a lot more sense to hype the F430, since it is the new model.

Which one corners better, I don't know, but the guy in the video was saying that the Stradale copes better with quick direction changes. Exiting slow corners, on the other hand (helped with more torque and the E-Diff), I suppose the F430 is superior. But to me, looking at the stats, I think the Stradale has the edge in cornering, overall.

But yeah, on the hands of 99% of the people, the F430 will be faster. And on faster circuits too.

One thing is for sure though: both are amazing machines.

^ That is weird, mine works fine (83.5MB .mov file).

Thanks for the link Nuno, but it wasn't that exciting since neither of them really gave it their all.
