On the dyno, the 612 posted 547 BHP and 440 lb ft of torque. Both higher than the claimed figures. Unfortunately, the 612 was about 50 kg heavier than the factory numbers. It weighed in @ 1914 kg, of which 45% is on the front (863 kg), and 55% on the rear (1051 kg).

The acceleration numbers are a somewhat slower, because it was cold during the test. The magazine acknowlages this.

As the competition goes, it absolutely annihilated them. The 612 lapped the circuit @ 1:25.95. The DB9 @ 1:28.9, the M6 @ 1:27.05, and the Bentley CGT @ 1:32.20.

Needless to say, they were very impressed. 5/5 stars

On a sidenote, the last sentence goes like this: "The two-seat, Enzo engined 599 GTB promises to be extraordinary."
