Best car chase ever
What is the best car chase in the history of cinema ??
In my opinion - "The Italian Job" (1969)

I didn't see the original Italian Job (shame on me)...
But I loved the car chases in Ronin with the Audi S8 vs Citroën XM & Peugeot 605 and the one with the BMW M5 vs Peugeot 406

RONIN!!...or the original gone in 60 secconds...the orig gone in 60 secconds had no digital enhancing at all =) they spent more time beating the crap out of the new cars so they would look like the totaled car that wouldn't run anymore really really nice chase scene
the new gone in 60 seconds is a disgrace compared to the old one 0X =)

The scene in 'Gumball Rally' where the cars go roaring off down the middle of Manhatten. And the last 20 minutes of the film when the AC Cobra and Daytona Spyder duke it out to the finish line, no music except the melody of those engines.
I like when about 200 police cars chase the Bluesmobile in 'The Blues Brothers".

bullitt was too short and the car never appeared again in the film, so it made it a drag watching the rest.

The chase scene with the TVR in Swordfish wasn't bad, just because it was a TVR.

Original Gone in 60 seconds. The whole movie was a car chase with a few bits put around it to call it a movie(seriously there was practically no plot, just a car chase).

the only thing about the orig one..is it was made in the 70s so watching it now makes some parts really REALLY! slow and boring lol

No, but they did speed up the film a few times. Either way, it rules. Who doesn't like a 45 minute car chase? LOL
Ronin
Bourne Indentity
Duel
Italian Job, old and new
The chases in Bad Boys 1 and 2 weren't bad either

The carchase in the first French Connection movie wasn't too bad either if my memory serves me correctly
