"The study, which was carried out by Continental Tyres, found that by driving at 30mph on the road the driver would experience the same lateral forces as he or she would while driving around Brands Hatch or on a rollercoaster.
Tracey Hyem of Continental Tyres said: "At 30mph in an average family hatchback, some British roads are so bendy they exert the kind of forces you would expect on a racetrack."

I checked these out on Google Maps - they look pretty windy but like a rollercoaster? I doubt it!

unfortunately, this does me no use. i don't thin there are any curvy roads with 300 miles of where i live. if there were, then all the elderly people who drive lincoln towncars would fly off the roads.

well, the driving season is all year, and more and more of the cars that are sold 4x4. Suzuki have made a killing in the market with a product line on cheap cars with 4x4. The norwegian Suzuki main dealer only imports Suzukis with 4x4.
the taxes however are insane..... we even get a new CO2 tax after 01.01.07 that forces people to buy small sub 2litres and sub 177hp diesels. if its petrol, over 2.0litres, or over 177hp it gets and adittional tax of 49%
I have been waiting all atumn to see the new Audi S3, and yesterday I saw one for sale, a modestly equipped one for $133.277,-
and btw,
just after the government confirmed this tax (to save the environment) they gave a lisence to open a gas power plant (without CO2 cleaning) which is mostly government owned, and it will pollute as much as 600.000 high powered, high performace cars.
this is the norwegian governments way to cope with the kyoto agreement.....giving all us people the bill.
damn bastards!

^^ well, when I say "driving season" I mean a driving season with sun and support for RWD hipo cars all year
I don't really go for the 4x4 thing.. hehe
The taxes seem to be the worst though
