Telemarketers what do you think of them?

So the reason I am asking is I recently got a job as a telemarketer and I was just wondering what other people thought


I'll start by saying what I think: I think for the most part telemarketers are pretty bullshit people who are just there to waste time and prey on suckers and old people

Also I hate the unoriginal bastards who take lines off the internet or seinfeld and use them its not funny .

Only thing I hate more that telemarketers.. telemarketers who come online to forums asking about telemarketer-hate.

I have a friend who used to work in telemarketing. He has since quit. He seemed like a decent guy, if a bit crazy.

Don't get me wrong after doing telemarketing I don't have anymore respect for them. I just know how to fuck with them alot better.


Best ways to fuck with a telemarketer is to waste his time, for example some fucking twat called me today and told me to do some survey. Needless to say I started asking him questions and I spun it, and ending up telling him he wasn't doing his job right and since I was a telemarketer that I could do his job alot better I spent 10 minutes on the phone with him beofre he hung up the phone on me

Dont' hate the players, hate the game. Telemarketers themselves are just honest people trying to make some money.

The telemarketing companies on the other hand, are really useless and annoying. I really wonder how they even stay in business because all they do is annoy the shit out of people.

I haven't been called by random telemarketers in a long long time. Which is a shame cuz i've got an airhorn in the garage i've been itching to use.

I have however been called by my credit card company trying to sell me fraud prevention shit (shouldn't they be doing this for free anyway) and the worst part was, 3 of the 4 times they've called, it's been someone with a middle eastern accent so thick, a cab driver wouldn't be able to understand them. So of course they didn't take me off the list until i got the one english speaker they employed.

But overall, you're all world class twats.

often thou the ones that calls know that theyr "company" is selling total crap and they do it anyway just to make money. Also they try to trick you with questions and "free" crap that most of the time have no value at all, thats probably why people hate them.
