what do you guys think of the new corvette?

iv seen those comercials and the taillaights.. in my opinion were just stolen from the ferrari 360. i dont like the new vette at all.... what do u guys think?

those rear lights aren't that much different than the ones Vettes have had for years. You might wanna look a little more at the 360s rear lights again. The Vette's lights are flat, the 360's lights are a sort of rounded cylindrical shape.

i'll have to see one in person to really judge the looks i guess, but the pics do look pretty nice, and the specs are even better 8)
all that for a cheap price (relatively for the performance), and it's a great car.

IMO, on the right race track it'll beat a 360 modena
it'll beat a NSX anytime/anywhere

however, those pesky lil rally cars ( wrxSTI and evo 8 ) might be able to beat the vette on a track with emphasis on slow and medium speed accelerating and braking.

As far as performance goes, no other stock car can touch it for the price. It's a great performing car. As far as the looks go.....I'll stick with my C5

I like it. The rear end has a C-4 look to it. I think that once the front view is viewed by people who don't like it, they will change their minds about those headlights . The interior is cool too.

The front end looks bland, not quite Corvettish... I do love Corvettes, but the interior of Corvettes are horrible. (especially in C5...fit for a pick up) Why couldn't Chevy take in some hints from the Italdesign Moray?

Actually my friend, the C6 Base will not take a NSX, or a Modena, just not gonna happen, it may almost have the power of the current Z06, but i doesnt have the wieght. Now the C6 Z06 will rape a NSX, a Evo, and a STi, maybe even a 360.

C6 is supposed to weigh 15 lbs more than the current C5 according to R&T. It's basically the C5 Z06 which is faster than the NSX in all but top speed.

As for the 360 modena, I base my opinion on dead even 1/4 mile times between it and the C5 Z06. the modena stops better from 80,mph but loses to the vette C5 z06 on the skidpad. so I'm thinking it's a toss up.

and as for the lil rally cars, I double checked and you're right, it's the C4 vette got it's ass kicked on the BEST MOTORING VIDEO not the c5 z06
