Question for you Jabba... What's the UK's policy on downloading?
I'm asking this because of the message that's been put on the OiNK website:

Here in the NL it's perfectly legal to download music and video data, as long as your not uploading, so I'm wondering why they're chasing after users.

Well we use servers in the US, and so far so good (everything in the UK is shit).
I think as Oink was a ratio site that there would be a fair few people uploading as well as downloading though.
Dutchie talking about getting his 30,000 Euro server taken.

Here in Romania, a few months ago, there was a big scandal about internal file sharing through DC++ programs. So, a couple of police officers went online, on to the biggest hubs , and downloaded the file list of the users that were having over 100 GB sharing. They noted all the files downloaded illegaly and with no copyright, got their IP, than they went to their internet provider company, and got their adress, and busted about 100-150 people , and took them to jail, and a big fine for the internet provider......Since than, a lot of people got scared, and only have sharing 1 or 2 GB max.......I use proxy server from USA, and download through torrents

I have decided not to take any chances and have forwarded them the details of two JW members that I suspect of being involved in pirate related activities. I woudnt be surprised if the police are already knocking on their doors.

Bizi Jones (2?) can't get busted...he's been dead for over 3 centuries (however his brain cell patterns have been digitized and he's been living on the web ever since...just like in Batman Beyond  )
