I second that. You can't even tell a joke nowadays w/o somebody getting offended or taking it to the next level. The world needs to pull the coal out of its ass and not take everything so seriously.

This show lives by it's character... a show by men for men... they can't take away the soul.
Here in Germany, some car shows on TV are also promoted by slogans like "the car magazine for men"....."the show for real men" and so on.

That Dr Louise Livesey should have a look at the LP560-4 vs. GT2 shootou tfrom season 12. Close to the end of the LP review, an old woman on crutches drives the Lambo...Should be satisfiing enough

it's amazing the lengths they're going to.....completely understand women voting, working for the same money etc but that's just ridiculous....my girlfriend watches top gear with me and she enjoys it, and she has a few weird views of her own too, so this woman must be a sociopath!

I once ran a campaign to try to end Women's Suffrage... that should tell you just how much I care about their plight

I don't think the Equality Bill ( http://www.commonsleader.gov.uk/output/Page2657.asp) was designed with taking down television shows in mind. It seems to focus on age discrimination and reducing the income gap between genders. There is some generic mention of eliminating inequality in hiring practices, but considering Top Gear is produced by the BBC, a reputable organisation, I doubt there is any problem there.

Probably has got all sorts of stuff in it when you dig into it, especially since it combines a patchwork of 100 other statutes. Probably changes all those statutes into something completely different. Just the transparency clause they talked about means, an employer now will have to fill out a shite load of forms, probably dealing with how many men how many women and total pay to women and men. From that raw number you have probably broken the law if you have less women and less pay for them, regardless of the job they do.
Remember the "Free trade Bill" between the US Mexico and Canada. That means I can drive my car into Mexico and sell it, Right? No. It means a company can make refrigerators in Mexico and bring them into the US and sell them.
