I would choose the Z4 because i like the design more than the SLK .. but i haven't seen it in flesh yet so it could be a temporary point of view
After reflexions i think i would even take the Alpina Z4

Yes, i saw all the released photos of the SLK but i like the Z4 more. But once more i haven't seen the SLK in flesh and it could be a flash who knows ?
Of course if we talk hard top my choice would be the SL 55 ... or even SL 65

I'd also chose the Z4. I'm not a big fan of the new Mercedes SLKs design. Like the Z4 better. Especially the Alpina Z4 8)

I'd take the Z4...besides the SLK is automatic only(right?).

Thnx. I was just about to say the same thing about the French people. I like them 8) .

Chaos In 1983; I think Mercedes only delivers cars with automatic gearboxes nowadays. Manual is a better way to control the car on.

Well I think they do offer manuals on their lower models like the A and C class, but all their top of the range cars are automatics...that kinda sucks...another reason to get the Z4...

Sure. But I've heard that you have to pay extra to get a Mercedes with a manual gearbox. It is usually the other way round! I'd chose the Z4 anyway. No changing of decision

the new slk comes standar with the manual gearbox....you don'thave to pay for that...you have to pay for the automatik gearbox....i am sure because i just visited the site of the merc in germany...
and because it is designed by bangle does mean that it is ugly MAE....i think the opposite....
anyway besides the looks that it is a personal opinion other reasons to choose the slk instead of the Z4.i mean what other advantages does it have more?
