Default What I saw standing at the roadside....

today while I waited for my new rear tyres to be mounted.

This was standing at the side of the road for about 10 minutes... and I let the mundane and boring go by - this just gives an idea of the automotive diversity that is US road traffic - It still amazes me 10 years after I got here. But note how FEW motorcycles there are.

This is a medium duty 6-lane arterial road that basically links residential and commercial areas. Traffic pretty much never stops - 7 x 24...

Oh yeah, and to give our Euro-brothers and sisters an idea of what constitues a "short commute/trip" - many folks around here will travel about 50 miles a day - just up and down this section of road...

Yeah some very different cars there my favourite is the viper!!. And as for the lack of bikes do you think it's anything to do with the size of american roads/cars . Six lane highways!!! i'd be scared on a bike for sure if it was full of pick ups, suvs etc

Love that Merc

I hate that Merc. IMO it's one of the uggliest Mercs ever made.

Eh...lots of cars there. Just one question: is travelling upwards of 50 miles per day a good thing that you should be proud of? I think not! (unless you drive a Ferrari
