Cecilia Zhang the most famous face in Toronto since Oct. 20/2003, was found dead.

'Cecilia's abduction came less than six months after the disappearance of 10-year-old Holly Jones, who disappeared while walking home after visiting a friend. The remains of Holly's body were found in Lake Ontario, and computer worker Michael Briere was later charged.'

Toronto is starting to freak me out, with all these little girls gone missing, only to be found in peices, we live in a really sad world.

Yes, it is quite sad. But torturing them only makes you as bad as them. A lethal injection should be mandatory for such disgusting crimes.
I hope they catch whoever is responisble for this.

yes but here in canada we don't belive the old saying "an eye for an eye", a some of you may know rapist and child molesters get passed around easy in prison. i would rather they live a long life of suffering then to have an easy way out.

Terrible news, and it's all over the papers today. The family must feel thatmuch worse having to see the details in every single headline.

The Globe and Mail ran a small story on some other child killings--all terrible of course. The one heartening fact is the justice that other prisoners sometimes carry out on these offenders. One got stabbed to death with a pair of scissors... not a good way to go yet probably better than he deserved.

And I will give you my totally biased view they should torture the person to death. Asking the other prisoners in jail to deal out a punishment isn't good enough for me.

i don't think Cecilia was found in pieces, and there was no evidence that show us that she was rape, yet. holly jones' killer was just a normal type serial killer. sentence for life without parole is probably the heaviest sentence, if you think about it.

Personally I don't know why people like the death sentence so much (there isn't one in Canada, but people are trying to get it back). If a person spends the rest of their life in jail, isn't that worse than just dying?
