bad rims, but the car is very very nice. . . maybe the frontal lights aren't so good, looking as the Cherokee "base"...

It's not by any means ugly but the old one looks better IMO.
This one doesn't quite look as elegant as the old one which
for me was always an important thing with the Grand Cherokee.
With that said, I do have to say that the interior is a definite
improvement over the old one. I am very glad to see that
they finally added an independent suspensio. Let's hope that
it will get the, IMO, much needed refinement.

it doesnt look bad at all, remaining true to the ZJ styling in most cases. ill definately agree the rims are a little to shiny for a car that truly has good on/off road capabilities (i have one ) hmm.... as long as they kept the gross vehicle weight about the same... can i hear 5.9 killer??? man, 390 ft lbs doesnt suck
i see a lot of vehicles with the dual per side headlight coming out... just seems it would cost more to maintain...

I think this will be a great car, change the wheels and it would look great! Do they still make a regular cherokee or is this the substitution..I know they made a cherokee limited in the late 80's through the mid 90's but did the grand cherokee replace that model?

They have hardly changed it since it originally came out. Didn't like it then, don't like it now. (I'm not really an SUV guy anyway... if you want a truck buy a truck, if you want a car buy a car)

The liberty replaced the regular Cherokee and in my opinion
blew it away, the Cherokee always needed a little smothing
around the edges, IMO.
