Ive shot one that big before, no reason really for the mount, they dont kick to hard. Just hold it. I was watching some special on TV about them one time though, and they had one mounted on top of a truck that was a monster and used a laser targeting system and controlled amounts of compressed air to fire.
*EDIT* Never mind, I didnt notice those too big bottom things were combustion chambers, that one would knock you on your ass. Im not real sure how a non inline combustion chamber would work though, it might be prone to blowing up.
