Default Baby Freek

Today at 5:19pm I was wittness to one of the worlds greatest events as me and my wife welcomed our first child into the world.

Her name is Kaya Louise and she was 19in and 5lbs 10oz.

Thus. If you dont see me around for a few days dont be supprised. She had to have a C section so they are keeping her in the hospital till Thursday and I plan on being there every waking minute.

a HUGE congradulations is in order for you, and your wife , it is a huge experience that i look forward to someday. Children are a blessing and are truly a joy.

My limited experience includes two younger sisters, and a nephew, and two nieces. as my sisters are both in high school now, i see my brothers children growing up so quickly. its so amazing; amazing to watch them grow up, and to learn, and display so much ceriosity in the world around them.

again, Congradulations to you and your wife

Congrats on the new baby! Let me ask you a question, if I may, were you expecting (hoping) for the child to be a boy?

Congratulations

Enjoy fatherhood - especially the times you "need to be busy" - Those are the times when they are the youngest and we are always the "busyiest"...

Never put off time that you can spend with your child/ren now, until "next time" -- you miss out on way too much if you do.

I have been fortuanate over the last five years to have essentially "worked from home" - and have watched my daughter grow up and enjoyed every minute. (well - almost every minute - as in all aspects of life - the ups come with their downs.. )

LOL spoken like a true "rosy eyed" noob...

They may be a "blessing and a joy" - but can also put you through hell and test you to your limits of endurance... LOL....

Try enjoy "the single" life as much as you can...

Well FishFreek,

congratulations are in place .
Trust everything is OK with mother, daughter and father.
I'm sure you and your wife will be great parents.
And beware: in 17 years time Kaya will be asking for your carkeys
