A frame taylored specificly for the rider!!! Bloody hell, do you have to go for a measure up for fitment, like a suit?? I dont think i'd know where to start on what i'd want my taylour made frame to be size wise!?
And what tyres are these?!?! Can you give us a brand name?
The bike industry moves on so quickly it scares me, 2 weeks after youve bought the latest, they bring sumthing better out!

Haha, yes a taylored frame, exactly as you describe, only team members can have a DH9 taylored, but some other frames can be done for the public:

The tyres are Maxxis ones. Based on the Minion tread but with a different compound. Unfortunately they will wear very quickly as they are not designed for public use (i.e 4 races and they are worn down!). I am thinking of getting another set of tyres and using them for every day stuff and then racing on the really soft compound.

If u ride with those tyres in the summer u'll only b able to do like 4 mph on the road cus they'll be sticking to the tarmac!!

Believe it or not, you are not far off! Riding on the raod with these tyres (or any soft compound) is a bad idea! You can almost see a black line on the road lol
