I agree! The recent ones have no feel to them. He manages to get good actors to appear lifeless and wooden on screen. People like ewan mcgregor and natalie portman are actually quite good in other films, but really bad in this.

My hopes are not high, but maybe I will be pleasantly surprised.

anakin has no father he was made by the force (like jesus). star wars has many resemblance with religion though it has different points also, like the force guiding "us", thats why the vatican didnt want ep 2 released....

I really hope Ep 3 is dark as hell. The first 2 sucked. If Mr. Lucas decides to write Ep.7,8,9 I hope he gets someone to collaborate on the writing with. I don't think he's in touch with reality enough to make it a good story.

In my experience with talking to people about Ep. 1 and 2, 8 out of 10 people thought they were stupid or had a real problem with a major aspect of those movies.

Lets all hope he gets #3 right.

you must remember, ep 1 was the first movie GL directed since a new hope... of course hed be quite rusty... hence why ep 2 improved quite a bit
