Any ideas on price? I read somewhere that alfa were thinking of charging £100,000 for it :shock: But wait 3 years and you'll be able to pick one up for about £20,000

LOL, i think this is gonna be one Alfa that will keep it's resale value quite well!

i heard from our Alfa salesman that it will be comin out as 2006 model

hi all, i also check italiaspeed on a daily basis and a serious tip - do not rely on
the upcoming engine datas (wishful thinking of the editor). an example.....

1992 (or 93) alfa romeo presented the 164 QV with 232 hp, in 2002 they
presented the 156 GTA with 250 hp - so it took them 10 years to elaborate
18 hp (please don't argue wit emission datas like EURO1, 2 etc....other
manufactures had the same barriers). i don't say we won't have more powerful
engines in the future but just wait until the cars are at the dealers showroom - too
much rumours are going around.

to bring this thread back to the topic.

my favorite modern alfa romeo is

1. GT
2. GTV (a.f.)
3. 166

as a heavy alfa fan i'm probably not really objective, but take the current GTV - this
car was designed in 92/93 and presented to the market in 94 and you still can
order it.....and...personally......the style & design of the GTV still beats
some other looking sportscoupe's from the presence....

i love all alfas, but to put 330 hp (autodelta Gt) through the front wheels doesnt sound like a good idea. i do look forward to the revival of sporty awd models though. it would have a bias towards the rear wheels making it a sportier drive then the current models. but i must say, the current gt, 147gta, 156 gta are screamers. and they're drop-dead gorgeous!

Lots of new exciting things are about to happen in the Alfa. In the Geneva motor show we are going to see for the first time the 159 and the Brera. Caaaant wait!
