Why are the ferrari and lambo symbols what they are?

Does anybody know why the Ferrari symbol is a prancing horse, or why the lamborghini symbol is a raging bull?

The prancing horse has something to do with some plane..........some army plane division.....something like that.

The prancing horse was the symbol of some Italian top gun in WW1 I believe. His family was friends with Enzo, and when the pilot was killed, they gave his crest (or something of the sort) to Enzo and Enzo was so touched that when he started Ferrari up, he used it for the company's emblem.

The Ferrari prancing horse logo came from an Italian World war I fighter pilot, Francesco Baracca, of Ravenna. At a race there in June 1923, Baracca's parents presented Enzo Ferrari with a shield, like the one their son had carried on his planes. As a tribute to that pilot, Enzo Ferrari used the horse to symbolize his cars.

The actual origin of the company logo concerns Ferruccio Lamborghini's date of birth: in the Zodiac, the 28th of April comes under the sign of Taurus the bull."

She told me one day: "Ferrari, put my son's prancing horse on your cars. It will breng good luck". I still keep a pic of Baracca, signed by his parents, where they give me the hemblem. The horse was and still is black, while the yellow background was added by me, it is Modena's color

The reason for the bull is that lamborghini Built tractors first before cars.I'm sure that Italians used Bulls to pull everything around.So when lamborghini built tractors,he used the Bull as a symbol to related to the power of the Bull to there tractors.
