YES!!! Maybe by the time I have to buy my own car there'll be a much larger selection of beautiful, fun cars to drive.

My life has just been made harder. There are a lot of cars I want that are available to me, and now, the Brera.
Anyhoo, it's about damn time!

Good news, Alfa's are pretty awesome cars. But i'd still rather purchase a 3-series.

I can't wait to get my hands around a Brera. we've had this discussion before, but I wonder how the dealer arrangement is going to be. I thought it'd most likely be with Maserati dealers.

The Italian magazine Quattroruote writes that Alfa is returning to the United States by 2010, using Maserati' distribution network. The article says that the models on offer will be Brera, Spider and 159.
A certain skepticism about Alfa's chances with this lineup is apparent from the article. What is certain is that the chances would be much better if V8 GTA versions of this cars will be out by then, together with the 8C Competizione and the Alfa 169 / Visconti, with V8 engines from Maserati, RWD and a transaxle gearbox.

i've been waiting a while. i'll believe it when i see it.
As far as i know, the return will not happen before 2008 or even 2009.

2009 is what i've been hearing since 2004, and with GM ridding thier connection with Fiat; that 2004 return was a massive farce. they need to increase thier marketshare, and coming to the US is a potoential way of doing that.
but even with limited dealers, there will definately be at least one in Michigan on Orchard lake road

:good:
I think 2008 will be a reasonable year for the return
