^ Why unadapted to the road "franck bullitt"? You can drive a normal Seven on the road perfectly, so what would make this X330 different apart from the better power-to-weight ratio? If Caterham decides to built a few, I'm sure they will be road legal.

Yes you can drive a normal Seven but this model should be more sporty and roads are not track by the fact that mistakes are not forgiven or rarely... i hope you'll undertand what i mean .... but drive such a seven like this one should be enjoyable at a 1000 per cent ...even on a regular way 8)
It's always good to see manufacturers which offer really enjoyable cars 8)

No doubt the X330 is awesome, but something like a Caparo T1 will drive circles around it and still beat it by a few seconds.
Can't wait for its public debut at Goodwood in two weeks...

Something this light and with that much power will need to have some amazing aerodynamics to make it fast on a high speed track.

Thing will be flying all over the track WITH OUT wings for downforce not to mention straight up deadly on the streets

Bad ass.

Yeps, but that's just like saying that the Porsche 997 Turbo is dead slow because the Veyron can smash it in any german autobahn.
I would've made that comparison if you called a 997 Turbo "the ultimate autobahn rocket", yes...

IMO "ultimate" represents the best of the best, which this X330 isn't. As impressive and relatively cheap as it may be

I'd go with one of thse over an Ariel just because it's still the classic Lotus 7 body.. Ariel is anything but pretty.

And this thing would whoop a Ariel's ass anyday

Give me a Caterham over an Ariel every day!
Preferably a N/A 7 like the Caterham Seven CSR 260, that will do just fine

i once heard the induction noise from the csr 260 and it sounded mean...but considering they're using a rotrex centrifugal supercharger (same make as the ones found in the koenigsegg ccx) for the x330 it wont whine like the ariel atom, instead it'll sound more like a turbo 8)
