We'll have to wait to the Tokyo Auto Salon to know its power and torque figures (it's been rumored that it will have 304 hp and 421 Nm) but here are the first officipictures:

It looks much better than the standard version, but that is easy. I really like the fat wheel arches, but I am not sure about the chrome accents at the front. The grey colour suits the car much better than the black.

I maybe get used to the looks when I see the car driving by, just like all the Impreza models of the last years.

I just keep wondering why Subaru did not release this car in their classic trim with the blue paint and the golden wheels. The car surely needs that extra touch.

Agreed. Those wheel arches helped a lot. Doesn't look as bad as I would've feared.

I'm thinking the same thing...it could be worse. I still like the look of the last STi more, but in person maybe this one looks better.

I think the wheel arches is nicely done. Miles better than the wrx.
If someone would kindly photoshop logo out of the front grill, it will be perfect.

see what they need to do is design their car and hand it over to a few tuning companies that make kits for them to make the car look ALOT more agressive.. i love the shape of my wrx, the new ones all look to ... soft.

Those white taillights look so cheap to me. I definitely could get used to the rest...
And 420 nm (or even more) sounds very promising

i actualy like it!
i think i woudl trade mine for that... it cant be slower than the older models.. so there is a faster, better car with a different look.... i'll take it, thats what subaru has been doing, people didnt like the buegey... then the 06... everyone hated it..., i think the same thing is gonna happen with this one... as soon as best motoring drives it against the other cars people are gonna change their mind...

Those photoshops are pretty cool!! That will be a good base for tuning companies!

But... the original car looks ugly!! It sure does look aggressive with those wheel arches but when the original car is ugly it's not easy to make it look really good! And I really don't like these kind of 5 doors car that almost look like a little wagon, just like the 5 door Mazda 3.

4 exhausts :shock: Are they trying to compete with the M3 ??
