They certainly salvaged the model's looks with the new STi. Like most of you I wanted to puke when I saw the new Impreza line, but this STi has a pretty nice look to it. The fenders are really what makes it for me, they beefed up the car quite well.

I still prefer the '06-07 model of course 8)

rear looks like a lexus, rear half as seen from front 3/4 reminds me of a ford focus rally car, but overall i think it looks reasonably well

the rear lights look like after amrket ricer 'mods'. it looks really cheap... but i have to admit, like the others said, the wheel arches help a lot overall

Which rims? I just noticed that they have swapped rims in the third pic. The black one in the third pic has the rims of the grey one in the first pic and the grey one has the rims of the black one of the second pic.

The red tail lights look much better. I also found a pic of an Impreza with a different grill which looks I.M.O. much better than the stock one.

When you start with ugly, you often end up with ugly. I'm afraid this is no exception.

I guess I am getting abit old, but I kinda start to like the car. It's like a ford focus RS, but......there's nothing wrong with the focus rs.

I prefer the sedan versions of the Impreza. Not being a fan of 5-door hot hatches, this one doesn't do it for me.
