yeah I bet the law would have to be really strict about that, where I live people are morons, and when it snows 3 inches there are tons and tons of wrecks. BTW, about how much does it snow in Austria and how cold does it get?

Fuck the insurance. The guy was doing something REALLY stupid in a really nice car. Shit, I deal with snow all the time in the out here in the Rocky Mountains, and it's just not something thats worth fucking around in.

I hope that he wasn't insured, that makes it HIS total loss. He deserved it for being that stupid. No sympathy here!!

Are you kidding me? What did he end up hitting? He'll probably just buy another one anyways.

well it depends, here in Upper Austria we usually have 5 to 150cm, but in Tyrol or Vorarlberg, our main ski areas we sometimes have more than 300cm of snow. average temperatures now here are -5 to -10°C in the morning and 0 to 5°C at midday, but in some mountain valleys temp. may reach -20 to -30°C. on the other hand in Vienna, there´s hardly any snow, we´ve quite a complex weather here in austria sometimes with huge differences due to the layout of Austria...
