If people stopped using those giant .gif's in ther signatures. I know most of you are on cable connections and don't even notice. I'm on 56k and I do notice.
Some pages take far too long to load. Some never load. Many times I sit here waiting for 5 minutes before anything appears. Then I'm able to read the whole page and move onto the next page before they are done loading. It's very irritating.
It's making JW extremely slow to browse. Even posting a reply takes a long time.
As cool as some of them are, it's just too much.
Please please please! Take them out or at least make them smaller! It would be greatly appreciated if you did so! Or just use a simple jpeg, those aren't a big deal.
I'm not saying I'll stop coming to JW, that'll never happen. But making them smaller or removing them would help a ton!
Otherwise, could a feature be implemented to block them all? At another forum I visit, I can block all avatars in my profile. If the same could be done for sig pics, I'd love whoeve does it forever in a purely heterosexual way!!!
