M5 Problems?

My car used to burn/use a quart per 500 miles driven... but then again I was thrashing the living piss (aka oil ) out of the car - literally - the car has been amazing;y reliable considering just how hard I have driven it.

Anything that has gone through 3 sets of rotors, 4 sets of tyres, 2 engines and countless gallons of gas and quarts of oil and still starts first time and daily drives without a fuss can't be that bad... Pity BMW can't make a car this tough...
