The modification bullshit is one reason i don't want to move there. That and your dickhead cops. The list goes on, in fact i think i have more reasons to stay away from cali then i have not to have kids

Yea the mod stuff is bullshit, you just have to be covert about it. I realized two years ago that the reason I got pulled over and checked for mods was the way I drove, and since then I've been a little wiser.

In police-heavy areas I go to 5th gear even going 30 mph. That'll make it quiet enough that you avoid notice. And right now I need to avoid notice.

That I recall they fine you up to 2000 dollars for voiding your car's smog equipment and modifying your car. They've basically lumped street racing and car modifying into the same basket to give enormous fines.

And yes, we have bastard cops.

That's also interesting about the Al tanks. I didn't know that one.
