Woah...these guys are really serious.

The facts happened before the new laws, so they can't be judged by the new laws.
There is no judgment regarding the seizure of cars. The cars were seized after the Act came into effect last December, in any case.

Are they going to crush some hockey players $400,000 car when he gets caught "street racing".
They'll probably auction it off. In any case, he's not going to get it back.

I think it's wrong to just take away people's cars and destroy them.
Lots of illegal things can get confiscated and destroyed. Too bad. That's life. Don't they have police auctions over there, where the cops flog all the stuff they've confiscated? These ricers aren't fit to be sold, so they're destroyed.
