The body is the same, just has the nose from the 9-5 grafted onto it.
I used to love Saab, now it's just a load of rebranded Vectras. That nose isn't nice either too much chrome, all hail to the US market.

I also love the new exterior. They need to go to basics when they were unusual. I always love the old 900.

And they're sold in Vauxhall showrooms to, how to detract the premium element from your brand.

Video - slalomcourse with the new AWD system.
The competitors were 3 in number and IIRC were one Japanese model, one BMW and just for fun - a Porsche (no, I don't remember the model at this late hour, but it was a big'un). And the Saab cooked them all with the quickest time and a course curve quite similar to that of the Porsche, indicating a smooth line of control through the slalom.
This is one exciting development. Saab are the first company in the world, nay the universe, to use this new Haldex system and the expertise they have shown with it has seen Saab rewarded with the responsibility for XWD development for all of GM's brands in the future

I really like the wagon, and he sedan isn't terrible, but that convertible is just !!!
It'd be interesting to test the new "X"WD saabs against the audi quattros, see just how revolutionary this system is.

Saab lost its character long time ago.
Like said before they are just re-badged Opel Vectras these days...
Not that this is a ugly car, its just not as good looking as its main rivals..
And the headlights have a bit of BMW 5 series in it IMO
