The thing's HUGE. Why not a Centrino? You dont have to have soemthing hanging out on the side and it does WiFi & performance better.

Just to get a better idea. How much are the cheapest laptop in the UK? I've been hearing from friends that England's really expensive and when I convert it I get sticker shock.

Hahaha... I saw what you drive and I agree with your priorities. I'd stick with an abacus if it got me a better car. People around here are obsessed with the latest gadgetry and often forget to get a ride most people will drool over.

Considering Jabba's priorities it's a good laptop. Heck it's a Toshiba. Pretty good brand for portables.

hey jabba ..... how much is the clock speed right now ... cuz the problem with m type processors is it runs at a low frequency ... it only increases when applications need more
speed ....... and when the speed is increasing or decreasing .... some applications crash ....

Well I wouldnt use it for anything heavy...just controlling the other PC's that do all the hard work.
To be honest even this one is a bit overkill for me..but for the price it seemed pretty good value.
