I 100 % agree and I also think its great to see a president that isn't afraid to kick ass and doesn't take shit from anyone.

I think recent events have demonstrated to the rest of the world just what happens when you fuck with the worlds only ultra power.

Libya obviously doesn't fancy seeing any free airshows of the latest USAF military hardware either and I am sure many other countries will follow suit and give up their WOMD programmes.

I for one feel alot safer with George running the show rahter than that last pussy Bill.

since he threatened to storm dutch beaches as soon as there would be 1 US soldier brought to the international court of justice for war crimes, i dont

but ofcourse, he did a good job in afghanistan and iraq, although i think the WMD was bs, im glad saddam is gone.

I like your statement but most people (especially other countries) don't know that most of the planes seen overseas except the Stealth and long range bombers are all from the Navy not the Air Force

Beaches? You have beaches?

I thought all y'all had were a couple windmills, a few canals and a bunch of little boys fingering dikes...

I would say that the B2 and the F117 stealth are the most impressive planes visually to scare the shit out of someone (if you get to see them) the B2 in particular doesn't even look like its from this planet.

I have seen B52's take off from one of your bases in mildenhall in the UK and how those aircraft even get airborne is amazing and trying to land them would appear to be another minor miracle obviously the damage they can inflict makes them a fairly dramatic aircraft as well..... as I understand it just the sound of the "drone" they produce has had whole units trying to surrender.

Yeah where I live they fly routine missions between Wisconsin and Arkansas and you can often see them refueling now that's a sight to see two B2's escorted by some smaller jets and a big ass refueling plane. when those B2's are above you it's like an eclipse. I'd hate to be on the other end of them.

Jabba, a couple months after I arrived in the USA I had a chance to see a number of B1's arriving to do an airshow near Bettendorf Iowa.

We were at the riverside, taking in the sites and sounds, when all of a sudden, the sky was filled with 3 B1's doing a low-level, low speed rate-1 style fly-over over the river (Mississippi) front.

Seeing those 3 great birds, wings open silhouette against the sky was an awesome sight.

Had those been B2's - it would probably have imparted a UFO style sighting to such the moment...

You Americans are so lucky to have such wonderful aircraft to be proud of I can only try to imagine such a sight I would imagine the word "Breathtaking" was invented for such an occasion.

The best I can come up with is three RAF chinooks that fly over my offices on a regular basis obviously not quite in your league but it always makes me get off my ass to enjoy every second of them flying over us.

I have seen concorde as well on a number of occasions (sadly retired now) and that is (was) an extremely pretty aircraft that I sadly never got the chance to fly on.

Imagine 3 of these...

...filling the sky turning like this... low and slow enough you could swear you could reach out and shake hands with the flight crews...

Awestruck is another emotion...
