Yup. I have to agree.
Now it's almost as if the regular 3-series is the "girly" version of the car.

The 4-door 3 series is already a great looking car (speacially the front ). The best from the segment.
When I first saw the coupe I was disapointed, but now I think it looks great too. 8)

BMW better hurry with the realease of the new M3, because the hp wars are getting too close to try to wow people with a 400-420 hp car. Hell a second hand GTO with 400hp can be bought for 20K.
Hopefully it is taking so long, because they realize this and they are revamping their the power capability. Maybe we will see a 420-450hp M3. If not, they might see ppl opt for an upcoming 500hp LS7 Camaro.
We will see..................I will hold faith......because I want one.

People are not going to "opt" for a 500hp Camaro.
When there's a BMW being offered, there's always people willing to take the BMW marque over something American.

especially since its a given that the thing will leave the camaro in the dust as far as handling, quality, practicality, and probably acceleration if its light enough.

Slick disguise..You can barely notice the added "power bulges".. Good thing there's a shot of the quad pipes and beefed up differential with the heat fins.

I disagree........... some younger people who can afford and M3 but also like to have the power on the block..........just may opt for a cheaper more powerful car. The M3 will not lose sales, because it has a cult behind it, but if it only sports 400hp, people who though about buying it before may just decline the offer.
Also, I am mainly speaking of Americans, because we have the best choice of high horsepower cars for not alot of cash. 45K - 500hp that can out accelerate a 55-60K 400hp car.........you bet people will go for the cheaper one. You have to remember that here in the US, most people just want stop light speed. When the E46 M3 was realeased it was definatly a bechmark, and could beat most cars on the road in my opinion. But if the E92 is underpowered it wont have the same effect. Time will tell

Fair point. But people who can afford an M3 will most likely be more than aware about why they're buying an M3 over a cheaper, higher-powered car.
People who are in the 45k bracket will definitely find reasons why they shouldn't shell out an extra 10-15k for an M3.

Yeah those wheels are so boring... I doubt those are going to be the on the production model.
Looks pretty good.. but they are still hiding all of the usual M3 power bulges and styling . I really want to see one compared to a regular E92.
