some quick info from that site....
" The SLR's engine is also an AMG production, derived from the existing 24-valve, 5439cc, supercharged V8; but now with an all-new dry-sump lubrication. It drives through a five-speed automatic transmission taken from the Maybach "

Very nice car! Wonder if the video review of it will be on Driven? Don't see it on the video zone section of the site
I like the side exhaust and the rear flap (similar to the one in mclaren F1). Oh, and it's "partly" designed in britain, they seemed to do a great job in getting the proportion just right. British design + German engineering = perfect supercars.

MB has been tryin to get this car into production for a few years now havent they? i seem to recall a "Vision SLR" in some mags, but then it disappeared.
i would take the porsche but those interior shots are nice. i like the center console and the start button in the shifter.
