My new ride (2 new vids, drive away and fly by clip)
Hey guys, well as some of you know the saxo vtr i had has gone.also you probably saw my sig.....anyway i picked my new car up
Its a 2001 ford fiesta zetec S which has a 1.6 16v engine and like the saxo it still weighs less than a ton...about 976kg apparently.
i spoke to the guy again who sold it to me and it has a re-mapped ECU by ford racing development or sumthin like that.so it has a bit more go go about it lol
First of all it has to be the custom shot right? lol

Finally! Nothing against the Saxo, I had a 106 myself, but the Fiesta is a more gown up car, and better quality wise too!
It looks nice and although probably the Saxo chassis is a bit better, this one should grant plenty of fun, shouldn't it?
Thanks for the custom shot too

Likewise, well I had two of them a '96 1.5 Diesel which I sold to buy a '98 106GTi (S16 for you, TT). My sister had a fiesta like this one which I drove a few times - I didn't have any problems with my 106s but the Ford is better built and also the Fiesta had that 'bigger car' feel to it.
That's a nice car you have there Danny, and the best colour too IMHO.
So is the Fester quicker than the Saxo? You said it's had an ECU remap. Get it dyno'd lad!

Hehe, French isn't my mother language and anyway everybody refer to the GTi as the GTi around here and never the S16

Evidently not!

The ZS book figures come in at 103 bhp. However, the average RR figure for a standard ZS on UKFN is 115bhp. Over 30 people have had their cars tested the highest standard figure was a whopping (considering the quoted figure) 118bhp. However, many people put that down to the variation between different rolling roads.
Without know more about the chip, I would guess that the car COULD be running at around 120bhp but again that also depends on what figures the car was running at standard.
Good choice of car gis. 8)

S16 stands for 16 soupapes, donc 16 valves. So it's only in France afaik
