New E-class
I'm pretty sure this isn't a repost, I did a quick search and found nothing.
The front is OK IMO, but the back makes it look like a Hyundai

The front kinda reminds me of the current Honda Accord.

this is defentley not the end product...

sometimes big companies test the public by putting pics like these
in papers...ofcorse MB wouldn't admit that....

This design is horrid! I mean the old one kinda looked manly, and quite cool, with those large round headlamps. This just looks like a cls with maybach headlights and a back that resembles an aston martin rear, but straightened with a ruler! Also looks like it's ready to submerge with that big visual line going diagonally across

It is also a cheaply made, fast to depreciate, badly service hunk of GM crap.

The front looks like the Lexus GS-series and the back...American Honda Accord....really not very classy.

As you said the back looks like a Hyundai
I think the back is not as challenging (this is not what i mean but i just cant remembre the right word) as the front.
As an overall i think its beatiful.

Im afraid that the car has too much the Japanese cues such as the Lexus as the people has already mentioned; on the one hand, it was welcome to see some merc shapes approaching the japanese car shapes in order to break the classical and also a bit boring impression that the merc was offering. However, IMO the mercs current looks even better than its direct rivals such as the Audi A6 and the BMW Series 5. Nonetheless well wait and see how the merc looks definitely

can anyone else tell that this was a Kwik-E-Mart Photochop? the grille isnt' lined up right and the blend lines are extremely obvious. I wouldn't be surprised if the E class looks nothing like this. But then again looking at the new C class....it just may be that ugly :plays taps for Mercedes:

I doubt that'll be final. Lexus has always followed MB, and that won't reverse. Too much lexus in the front, and it's Audi in the back to me.
