Default Spy shots: Production version of Mitsu Evo X

Images of a production ready Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X have turned up, revealing that the final version will stay true to its concept’s form. The scan was taken from the latest copy of Autocar magazine, which went on to reveal crucial details about the new car including the fact that it’ll share a platform with the Dodge Caliber.

Sitting in the foreground is a rendering of the next generation Subaru WRX STi that’s expected to adopt more European styling and will come in a five-door hatchback in addition to the sedan. Power will come from the familiar 2.5L boxer engine but tuned for even more output. Subaru is also likely to be improving its AWD system to compete with the new EVO. We’ll have to wait until the Detroit Motor Show for the EVO’s official debut, while the Subaru is slated for release in the second half of next year.

Finally it will be our first Mitsubishi EVO to be sold in Canada, it looks very similar to the concept, thats a cool fact. But, I hope they improve the cabin look and materials quality from previous EVO.

Looks like a Fish??
Need more pic from side and rear.. Evo's are not good looking cars but they are made to take your head off at each corner.. Love them..

Never liked the styling of the Evo X Concept - too agressive compared with the current Evo VII-VIII-IX series, this concept looks to ricey IMO And the Scooby, going for a hatch back is another mistake IMO
Definitely, but that's because it was based off an Econo box, I guess this one is a stand-alone car?

I don't think I like it either, not very pleasing for the eyes. It does look like a Big Mouth shark w/ that huge grill.

Compared to this, Audi's grills look quite pleasant.

They are designed for eating up stones kicked up by 18-wheeler on the highway
