Simply this is because Walter Rohrl is very used to the supercars testing and testing it; if it wasnt enough, probably he knows the Nurburgring a bit better than Kaiser, whereas a formula driving technique is another world compared to a street legal car or a supercar

For example, if there was a race between a IRC star (Anton Alen, for example), and Sebastien Loeb in a S2000, probably Anton Alen would win the race because it takes some time to get used to a car, to set up a car, and etcetera

Haha.. truly king of the 'Ring.

a "home" course advantage in driving makes a BIG difference.. and on a long track like the 'Ring it's like day and night. Hans Stuck and Walter Rohrl could take anyone on the 'Ring with their eyes closed and with slower cars.
