964 is good bargain now -- but it's so bloody expensive to service and any drivetrain/engine parts may cost u a fortune on labor hours
It does have a toyota price tag but it's still a supercar -- wish I could afford 964 service bills soon.

Thats true, you can get 911 for a price of good equiped Skoda Octavia, and most of people choose Octavia!!!
I was thinking of getting 994S2 as it is really cheap and still a Porsche, but somehow I have lack of money

i have just bought myself a 951 -86 and i love it! have only driven it one day so far since it snowed the day after i bought it but i am going to put on wintertires ( on 9 inch rims! ) and use it everyday!
its got a little bit more then the stock hp since its chipped and it goes like hell once the turbo spools up!

I can get you the silenced guns from my Russian connections. How's an Olds Alero with tinted windows for a getaway car? Count me in!

How about a WS6 with tinted windows for a getaway car?

the swedish 944 site i have a couple of pics on is down due to some stupid worm that has destroyed it so i cant link to those right now, sorry!
was able to take it for a spin tonight though, since the snow rained away and it was GREAT! in the wet the car spins the tires in second gear doing about 50 mph... and it not even scary, total confidence!
and showed an old man in a mercedes trying to overtake me on the freeway what german car is the fastest hehe
everyone should have a porsche!

Well you know, you can host pics on imageshack.us and about 1000 other websites...
And on JW either there are pics (+custom shot) of the car, either there is no discussion about it

So... where is the bank? I'm convinced... but.. since we are hitting a bank, I would still take a 993!

@ DJF1
Big Thanks man for sharing your experiences about purchasing and owning a Porsche. It's probably one of the most sensible posts I have ever read on a forum thus far 8)
Face your fears and live your dreams
Cheers
