thats horrible!
although...are they going to record your exact location at all times too? cuz without that, the speed recording is pretty stupid.
for example, you're on a residential street, but doing the highway speed limit. theres no way they can tell you're doing some illegal without tracking down what street you're on, and that would take waaaaay too many people to do that for every car in Canada.
of course it works for people going far over the speed limit, but for everyday dangerous driving that's worthless.
hope it doens't happen to us!

unfortunately i dont agree whatsoever. racing isnt exactly for the streets... but... thank god we have our liberties in the constatution here, where gov. cannot come into our homes, and a car is concidered our property 8)
also, mabey im posting somewhat ignorantly, as i havent read the article... its just about time to leave... so ill catch up in a few days 8)

That is just bullshit.......Toronto car insurance is one of the higest in NA....
I can never imagine what that transponder will do if it got a GPS module.
It means it know exactly when u speed and how much speed.

red light photo radar is used all over canada. this won't go through though.

um well not really it was only recently that they started to use it in Toronto
as well a current law suit my result them in not using them in the future.

^^ its not optional it is a pilot meaning they will test it on 100 or so cars, then if people think it is stupid they will get rid of it.
but if you drive safe and under the speed limit, it might lower you car insurance, so this is only a problem is for those who break the law.
