Looks like you were "rear ended" - that's makes it their fault - so your insurance should recover from theirs and not affect you ...

OUCH so sorry to hear about and see your car in this way,i was angry as hell when sum moron knocked my wing mirror off so i can imagine how u feel havin that happen to your baby.
glad your ok (which is the main concern) but glad your car is not totalled.good luck with the repairs and keep us updated

thats bad news mate, feel bad for you.
I've been lucky so far, only 1 minor accident when a blonde bimbo reversed into me.....only about $300 damage paid for by insurance.

sorry about the accident. anyways as far as i know if you were not at fault your insurance shouldn't go up, other than states have different laws, my brother got hit he wasn't at fault the insurance of the other guy pay for rapairs and he's record is clean.
BTW how can you rotor break, was it hit with something else? or were you hit so hard that it just broke off?

accidents suck ass im sorry to hear about it. its because of other peoples not paying attention that killed my saab (slow death) my sympathy is with you. i hope its not in the shop very long... its so often insurance companies take weeks to figure out how much the damage is really worth; so i hope you dont have a rental too long...
